The Sherbrooke World Cinema Festival (FCMS) is intended to be an event of social utility, where, beyond the cultural interest in the cinematographic genre, spectators take part in various reflections on contemporary social issues.

It is in this perspective and following the recent events that have put Lebanon at the forefront in the news that the FCMS had the idea to turn the spotlight on this region of the world and on its cinema during the next OFF.
Five films will be presented in order to allow the population to discover the Lebanese film culture and richness and to learn more about the cultural and geopolitical issues that mark this society. In addition to the films, guests will be at the event to discuss and demystify the issues raised by cinematographic works.
